60 days! Can't quite believe it

    Thank you to the NoFap community for inspiring me to go on this journey. It was a hard battle for a while but I really feel I've nailed it now.

    The obsession has gone. I still glance at porn from time to time on automatic pilot but quickly catch myself and shut it down, and I've not masturbated or edged at all now for 60 days. No sex either as I'm also in a recovery programme for cocaine addiction and relationships are highly discouraged for the first year, but that makes it simple actually.

    It is possible to turn life around completely. I've had lots of depression, anxiety, but it's improving every day.

    As for tips for a newbie, keep on trying. I do daily mindfulness practice of at least 30 minutes, plus 12 step meetings, plus at least three yoga classes a week, and that's really helped me stay clean and fap free.

    Bring on 90 days!

    I have O'd with my wife.
    I love the challenge and what it's done for me...
    I'm going to keep going and stay away from porn forever!!

    What are 12 step meetings?

    Congratz btw. I'm having crazy urges, I feel that I'm more conscious of my thoughts and gaining control of myself, but the urges also seem to be there.

    12 step meetings are for people with addictions. There are lots of different flavours depending on your personal situation. The most famous is AA (alcoholics anonymous).

    Hang in there with the urges, they really do go over time. Good luck!
