Agree with someone else’s comment above about setting goals and it’s what you do with such videos or where such videos may lead. What are some more helpful choices you could do instead of watching hot kissing scenes? What other things could you watch? Eg. Comedians/full movies or tv episodes rather than just kissing scenes. Talk with a therapist and/or close friends that know about your behaviours and see what they think too. Find someone close to you that can help you to hold yourself accountable.

 

If its giving you a hard on and you are watching it purposely it definitely has the same effects as porn even if it is not technically porn.

 

Porn substitute - not pornography by definition but filling the same purpose for you. You are still entertaining your brain in a similar way, feeding the same habit, hence not getting the healing distance that you need to reach sobriety.
