    Hello everyone!

I am 28 and started NoFap from 2016 but I still cannot completely quit it.

I got heart palpitation about a month after I start quitting PMO and it's been 2 years now.
My situation is that I can feel the heart beat strongly after meal and when I lay on bed.

I also went to see doctor - blood test, ECG and thyroid test was all negative.

Do you guys also got heart palpitation ?

    Hi,
not really. What about cardio exercises? Do you do anything on a regular basis? Any issues there? Overall, I do not thing that your heart beat is necessarily related to quitting porn. I feel you need to introduce some regularity in your life (palpitation is irregularity, activity of the sympatic nervous system). Get up and go to bed at the same hour. Morning exercise (no exhaustion, whatever is your favorite)...recently I fought anxiety for a month by running 3-4 kilometers every morning regardless of the weather, at the same hour. The anxiety did not go away completely, but it helped a lot for me to have something to stick to. Schedule will help your nofap journey too. Then I would recommend 10-15 minutes simple meditation before falling asleep. When meditating, do short inhale and then long exhale. Long exhale puts accent on your parasympathetic system and will calm you. You may try it also when you actually have the heart palpitation to see if it helps. Good luck, bro!

    Thanks suntannedsailor

I keep jogging 3-4 kilometers twice every week and I don't have any chest pain/dizziness/shortness of breath during jogging
I hope the palpitation will be relieved as I keep the NoFap journey. Thank you Bro!

  4. I used to have an occasional one. It disappeared when I got saved/had a profound experience with God about 5 years ago. Likely due to stress.

I also have. Good to know I am not the only one. I believe it's stress plus more testosterone.
