    What stage am I in?
After putting together a 16 and 12 day NoFap streak respectively I've been giving in to porn and jerking it again for the last 2 weeks or so and have 100 percent lost all drive to go back on nofap.

Eventually I know I'll try nofap again. But until then I was wondering what recovery stage am I currently in. Complete denial?

Why eventually? You think life lasts forever? If you're gonna quit, quit now not later.

Relapsing after long periods of abstinence leads to higher addictions. If you start nofap again you need to completely ditch it for life. You will need to take drastic steps. But you should never give up. Join my 20 day challenge.

Alright. I'll do the 20 day challenge. Why not. Been jerking it 3 to 4 times a day lately. My problem is As I'm currently newly into working out so I go online for workout routines and there's always the picture or video of the fitness hot girl. But what are the rules of your 20 day challenge. I'm in though.

20 days is perfect since my old record is 16 days.

I just deleted my Facebook account cause there's this hot girl I know who I always look at on there so that's gone.

Relapse after making a lot of progress is common and normal. I think the next streak you go on whenever you decide to try again will be longer than you've ever had since getting addicted

Longest streak yet sounds good to me. I guess I'm currently in a new streak right now. Almost 3 days in might as well keep going.

It sounds like you have become discouraged; like you have a pattern of trying repeatedly to break your addiction, but the emotional and mental energy that it takes to pull together your willpower is overwhelming you.

Here are a couple of tips that I hope will help:
    1) You can't just give up addiction and leave yourself with voids. Addiction creates a massive hole inside of you. If you do not fill that space with something positive, you return to your addiction every single time.

    2) You need support AND accountability. Addiction lives in your head. So, if you only have support, but you do not address the need for accountability, you are cutting yourself short. Remember that your addiction knows you better than you know yourself. You cannot win by being in your head, alone, with your addiction.

    3) Addiction recovery is not about white-knuckling. Willpower will often fail you. You need to get to the heart of the voids that make addiction so compelling for you. You need to understand what hurts, what you are running from, what you are running towards. You need to understand your triggers.

I hope that these tips help. Best of luck to you.

You'll find the main reason you quit something that's important to you is because you no longer feel important. You've lost your self worth so, what difference does it make if you break something that's improving you?

People who look in the mirror and are massively overweight say the same thing, "What difference does it make" then pick up the phone and order Domnios (with a diet coke).

You've got to like who are in order to respect yourself. Learn to like yourself more, become a better person to others, work harder, dont procrastinate, etc, etc and in doing this send the message to yourself that you're worth it. You have to have value in order to have discipline and discipline to have value.

That gave me some homework to do. Thanks.
I suppose we're all running from something. What am I running from? What did you find you were running from?
