Like do you ever get to the stage you can easily refuse it. Do you ever get to the stage you never want to search it, and when you do see it you can easily refuse it?

What I have noticed is the longer I spend away from porn and artificial sexual stimulation the more appealing it is when I do see it. So when you watch porn ever day it is actually more boring, but then when you don't see it for ages and then you do see it again it is super exciting and really appealing. This doesn't seem like the addiction weakening to me what so ever.

The worry is that I will always find this stuff extremely appealing, regardless if I am addicted or not?

The chances are yes. You need to change your mindset to hate porn rather than resist something you enjoy, so you dont succumb to the 'forbidden fruit' idea.

Hopefully yes. It will be impossible to live a future life with the temptation of porn hanging over. Have faith in yourself and you will beat this addiction!

    Yes it becomes really easy.
First you've got to get out of habitual porn consumption and come to a point when it's your choice whether to watch it or not.
After that you just say no!

At what point does this happen? I have been stuck at the one week threshold for a while now and it would be good to have it slightly easier a few weeks in to act like motivation.
Do urges simply weaken or are there certain turning points at specific days?

  6. All the adictions in the world must be fought, from masturbation to drugs. Even the people who never did or used it has to fight it when the oportunity comes. Yes it will be easier, because you're breaking your habit, but no, it will not disappear from one day to another. Good luck!

When addicted you've got to break your habit. The brain is like '' ah its time for my scheduled porn now, SHOW IT TO ME! ''
You've got to be like 'no you're not gonna get it!'
Break the habit and follow it with another habit, use that time for something else.
Then you'll come to a stage when the brain no longer expects you to watch porn every time.
So urges weaken. There may be times when your urges are triggered, at those times you've got to excercise your will and say No!
Build the mindset that porn is not an option, and soon it no longer will be

I can relate to what you are saying (in the early stages).

There is little doubt in my mind that if someone does not give in for a week (compared to doing it daily) and then masturbates to porn, it will feel more exciting, his erection may be better he will cum more and the orgasm will feel stronger. However, the goal is not reduction. The goal is to reboot the brain to its original 'factory settings'. That means complete abstinence over many months, even a year or two. Along that journey your desire for porn will lessen and disappear. A real relationship will be appealing to you. But fake sex via masturbation and porn will not. Have faith Drew.

This is the the exact thing! I think my brain builds a barrier at one week for my common relapse point and gets used to the idea of it even though I really dont want to relapse!
