I bought this book when I was 17 after a life of serious drug abuse. I was torn, this book came along with the concept that you can manifest anything with the power of you subconscious mind was like a holy saviour to me. I thought I could be god or become superhuman. I made a more detail review of it on Amazon many years ago but I don't think it's still there. Anyways avoid it at all cost. Biggest mistake of my life. It's dangerous to assume you can control things with the subconscious or law of attraction. These things occur naturally, you cannot influence it. The problem is the book makes you think you can and that is when all hell breaks loose. It gave me some serious mental illness, insomnia which lead to skin complications. I was jaded and scarred for life. It's like trying to eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. While you may gain a lot of insight on how things work you won't be able to manifest it yourself. It would just shorten your life span. The author may be be smart to uncover the working behind the subconcious but is an idiot to think anyone can actually control it. This book might as well be the work of Satan and should be banned.
Actually I agree with each and every word of yours I read the negative review of it before ordering and some people claim it to be stupid Anyway I am reading it just increase my collection of novels And time pass
Well if you aren't the impulsive type maybe you will not be as affected as me. Just take my advice and don't try to accomplish the techniques described it will only backfire. It's like trying to force yourself to sleep, the more you try the more restless you become. The author obviously wrote the book without testing it or maybe he did and ignored the negative results just so he can sell a book.
"The subtle art of not giving a fuck" by mark mansion. If you care too much about what other people think of you then this book is must read or I would say must understand.
