so sadly I relapsed today and was gorging on porn

on one site, there were ads showing child porn (like obvious ones), so i closed out of the site immediately after i saw it in disgust. I didnt click the ad or download anything (but cookies) or anything

now im scared. will i get arrested and be forced to be a sex offender? in the USA if that helps

  2. Maybe you should quit porn all together and impress the feds with your nofap streak.

My brother’s an attorney in the Philly area, and I remember talking to him about the gray area that is “child porn” without the harm of a child (i.e. fanart, etc). His colleagues represented people accused of engaging in child porn, and through their experiences he had these recommendations for accidental exposure.

Most important thing: REPORT THE SITE! This must be stressed. You can report it to National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at www.cybertipline.com, and they’ll work alongside the Dept of Justice, the FBI and other agencies. Also, report the website to your ISP; they’re required by law to deal with child porn.

Now, realistically there’s an extremely low chance that action will happen against you simply for accidentally seeing child porn. The worst that will probably happen is you being put on a watchlist, which is no big deal unless you visit that site 20 times a day for 15 minutes, or other regular timeframes.

But, if something DOES happen and you get arrested or charged, the fact that you reported the website will MASSIVELY be in your favor. Take advantage of that, save the final report for future proof if needed and provide contact info.

Also, in the 0.001% case the police tries to raid your house, don’t allow law enforcement to search your belongings without a warrant, and don’t answer their interrogations without a defense lawyer, whether you’re innocent or guilty. No matter what the police threaten or intimidate you with, it’s your constitutional right to have an attorney.

Overall I truly doubt that’ll happen. There are more child porn pics online than people think there are (as anything under 18 is technically considered child porn), so if people got arrested for accidentally looking at one, then millions of people wouldn’t probably be arrested. But be extremely careful in the future.

Pro tip: Call the cops on this ad, just tell them you were on a pornsite and this popped up, they will go after it and you will be fine

I don’t think that the op is going to report this to the cops for understandable reasons of embarrassment and the fact he would call attention to himself when it wasn’t there in the first place.

Easy solution is to stop watching porn then you kill two birds with one stone. You conquer your addiction and don’t get into trouble with police

Let us know what you decide

  6. Why did I click this ? Schrodenfreider?

  7. I understand man. One time I was on one site and they had CP in one of the related videos or something and I was so disgusted and I quickly clicked out.

My internet went dead for like an hour or two.

That's because my local ISP was checking my history and they realised I'm not a paedophile but just some sick pervert lol. Don't worry, if you didn't consume CP you'll be fine. If you did intentionally look for it then... :(

  8. Nah it doesn't work like that. You'll be fine. But stop pmo asap before something that bad happens.

Thx everyone, so I took yalls advice and reported it, it was embarrassing but it’s better than not reporting it and becoming a felon sex offender if they saw I saw it even unintentionally

I haven’t heard back from any source that I reported, either the missing and exploited children’s website or my ISP, and lol yeah my internet went off for a few hours before it came back on also

Thx all, think itll be fine, now I have even bigger reason to quit porn. Hate stepping on land mines lol
