hi and sorry for my bad english, im learning english. im 24 years old and i started masturbating since i was 9 but my problem started when i was 20 years old, i used to masturbate for hours without lube and i lost almost all my pennis sensivity. now i feel like if my pennis would be disconnected from my body, i cant feel anything with oral sex or normal sex either... im really worried. i did heard about people doing the nofap challenge for 1 year or more and they didnt get his sensivity back....how is that possible? did they damage their penis nerves , would it be possible? what i dont understand is if is it possible to lose your sensivity because of nerve damage or skin damage and idk if i could have damaged my penis nerves , idk if it is possible? it could be the reason? i did a 30 days NoFap challenge but i didnt get my sensivity back at all... i dont have problems with my erections , i can have normal erections when i look at a girl or when i wake up... so i dont think it could be a testosterone or hormones problems in my case... do you guys think it is possible to get the sensivity back if my skin is thicker? or would it be easier to get your senisivty back only if it was a testosterone problem? i really need your opinions , i need to know your experiences with the nofap challenge , how did you get your sensivity back and did you guys have testosterone problems or a penis skin problem?

maybe, but i heard a guy in this forum, well a few of them who said they didnt get his sensivity back , even with a 2 years reboot or so, how is that possible, did they damage their penis nerves , would it be possible? what i dont understand is if is it possible to lose your sensivity because of nerve damage or skin damage and i didnt find any information about it in internet. most of guys with porn adiction have problems to get erections but it is not my case. for example i got normal erections and i can get an erection in the morning when i wake up and i can get erections when looking a girl in public or anywhere and i really feel "horny" sometimes, that is when i decide to masturbate , i dont do it for no reason but whjen i do i cant feel anything, even thought i feel horny that is really really weird... so probably i dont have a dopamine or hormones problems right? ... so let's say you can lose your penis sensivity for 3 main reasons , 1: would be because your body does not produce enought testosterone.
2: it could be because you damage your skin and your skin is thicker than before or 3: it could be because you damage your nerves ( idk if it is possible to damage your nerves for masturbating, idk how nerves can get damaged) . thanks for replying!

Everything is in the brain for I to feel an erection and penile sensitivity lies in the brain so when ur brain normalizes everything returns to normal

Ive PMOd for 20 years. Havent felt my dick idk when. I didnt even feel am I erect or not, only when touching by hand id noticed im Hard or not. Now 23 days monk mode I felt my erection without touching. Havent been with a woman yet and not planning to be for the next 5 months. It will come back.
A little story about how brain works in muay thay. They kick with shins of their legs, the bone you can feel under your skin. It hurts bad if you get hit there when playing soccer, but these guys kick bamboo trees and hard objects for conditioning. So what happens? They destroy their nerves right? Wrong! What happends is by the repetitive pain from impact, brain learns not to turn attention to it, it learns that never mind this pain its normal, it happends all the time and every day for years and nothing breaks, so it learns to ignore these impulses from pain receptors that are in and around shins. That why your dick is numb. Repetitive overuse by hand, wich grip has more pressure than vagina, and you MO for hours a day. Leave your dick alone, he needs hes well earned rest after years and years of abuse.

Stroking your dick doesnt damage nerves. If that would be the case, your hands and legs should be numb for a long time ago.

yeah but i used to masturbate with a really bad technique, i used to rub my dick with a dry piece of cloth, i know it sounds weird but the only way i would feel something was with rubbing my dick with that piece of cloth (it used to be a old tshirt of mine that i used to mastrubate). i always used to masturbate with it and it used to hurt my dick so much , i always had micro cuts in my dick's skin after masturbating .but i alaways thought this may be due to dryness of the foreskin so i always ignored it until now... i think that is what made my pennis numb. btw thanks for your time, your answer was so useful and sorry for my bad english

It just takes more time to heal, thats it. Trust the process.

  9. Do a forum search. I've had your issue and I participated in many threads related to desensitization and delayed ejacultation. Do a search with my name and keywords such as "shea butter". You will find extensive posts on the subject from me and other members.

Also do a search on the topic of prone masturbation. These guys certainly have completely killed their penis.

please stop trolling, if you have a different problem , go make a different post

  13. Its not fixed yet for me. But you have no other optiom but to stop (death grip) masturbation and porn and let your penis and nervous system heal.

  14. You are oversimplifying how sensitivity works.
Most of what you feel happens in the brain, not at your genitals.

You describe arousal in terms of an erection, but erection is just a small part of normal sexual response.
Intimacy, like hugging, holding hands, kissing looking in to the eyes are very arousing. Physical sex is just an additional layer to the the overall experience, that builds on the intimacy between two partners.
If you broke that complex response down with abuse of pornography, you are trying to get pleasure from just one component of the experience and ignore the rest.

If you have a partner, see how enjoyable it is to be intimate with her without sex. You are likely to find that not really enjoyable and so you will have gradually learn to enjoy it.
As you get more pleasure from just intimacy, physical sex will only add to that

I have the same problem and the way you phrased it as the penis being disconnected from the body is what i find most accurate.

I mean yes, i have little to no sensitivity in penis, forget about pleasure... i just dont feel anything. But more concerning is the fact that it feels disconnected. Obviously it is there but mentally not really.

I think it is a problem of nerves in the lower back too as i have lordosis and my pelvic muscles are very tensed too.

I do get erections during sex but just don't feel anything.

damn man, it sucks right? I agree with you man, i think we both damaged our nerves and our penis skin. i have been looking for a lot of information maybe we both are suffering skin keratization it is caused when you are circumsiced or when you rub your dick so much when masturbating your skins gets thicker, but how to solve it? who knows!!?? i have been talking with some urologist and they said if it was nerve damage it would really really difficult to fix... and some others said there is no such thing as creams or products to bring the sensivity back, he said "if there were creams or something to increase the penis sensivity , then everyone would be using it and increasing their penis sensivity, it is impossible" that is what a doctor t old me, im really worried man... many people says that they did a 90 days reboot and they got their sensivty back but maybe because they had a different problem (not nerve damage or skin damage), most of the guys who said they got their sensivity back is because probably his problem was mental and that is all... i dont think they got their sensivity back, i think the fact they did a 90 days NoFap challenge , now they are super horny that is why they think they got their sensivity back, that is a different thing. I personally doubt .... man tell me more of you, did you try the 90 days challenge or so? and what happened?
