I've been using a habit tracker in the past to try to achieve my goals, but I recently relapsed. In general though I've done better controlling this than when I was younger-- I guess my libido has naturally diminished with age. But I'd really like to kick the habit for good, so will try this.

BTW, it's been a long time habit, starting with stealing my dad's Playboy magazines in the 1960s, right up to 21st century internet porn. So hoping for the best.

Hi KK, welcome here, and wishing you loads of strength and good luck on your journey to break with PMO. Actively engaging in a community such as this helps. As such, if you want to share more about yourself and your story, we are here to listen and provide support. Also, "hoping for the best", might not be the best course of action. Rather, I would advise to make a plan, define actions, develop new, positive habits, etc (see the links by Tiger Uppercut!). If you really want this, the hard truth is that this will probably require hard work and commitment. Starting here is a good first step, though, so keep up the good work!

Yes, poor choice of words! I do intend to work on this. I've always tried to go it alone, and I can see that I need support. Until yesterday I didn't know support existed. So, onward!
