    Hi Everyone!
Alright, little backstory here. I first got introduced to Pornography around age 10-11, started masturbating around 16, and while i get some ups and downs here and there, i've found the past 3 months have sucked, which is saying a lot. Believe it or not, when I was 14 I was so ashamed and convinced i was a freak for what i was doing on a computer screen that i attempted suicide (in case you were wondering, it didn't work). I dated for a while, but broke up with my girlfriend because i found the sexual pressures of our relationship was making even more of a trainwreck to my sexual purity than i already was. since then, i made the commitment not to date until I'm clean of this crap. That was 1 year ago. Now I finished my first year of University (as of today), I'm still in the same mess i was before, and still not making much headway. But that's why I'm here. I'm an independent person, and while i try so hard and sometimes succeed on my own, there's next to no accountability. So here's to a fresh start!

Hi and welcome! I suggest you go to the Accountability Partners section and see if there is someone you can link with. It can be very effective to keep each other accountable.

Welcome to the community! You're in the right place! May I suggest read as many articles/books and watch as many videos as you can about porn and its horrible effects on our brain! The more you educate yourself the better you will be equipped next time you have an urge or feel tempted.. The book " The Porn Circuit" is a good start! Personally, reading this book is what made me join this site in the first place and stay faithful to my mission until now, as I am still using its techniques to avoid PMO!

    Welcome to NoFap!

A lot of us started at a young age and are just now trying to give up the bad stuff.

Replace negatives with positives, and get related results.
