It will probably take some time to fully go away. Im about 7 weeks no PM and the fetishes that were once so prevalent to me, rarely cross my mind.

 

Most of my hardcore fetishes goes away in as little as 1-2 week. Other less hardcore sticks for longer time. But I often find myself being able to get turned on by vanilla thoughts as in little as 4-5 days.

 

How exactly would fetishes over go away when it's something you ingrained in your brain? I'd say the idea is to manage the fetishes and take control of it, but it's not like you can one day no longer enjoy your fetish you used to get off to more times than you can remember...

 

People change over time. If you stop supporting those fetishes they will eventually fade. That is, if they were porn induced.
But generally speaking, people naturally change over time. The majority of my interests, mindstate, and things i place importance on are not the same as they were 5 or 10 years ago.
