If you are wondering what happens after 100 days I guess I can atleast tell you what happened to me after 100 days of no porn. 30 days no PMO,bout 70 days No PM

I admit that I have little more energy and motivation to do ''not fun'' stuff like working, doing laundry, fixing things in the house, cleaning and eating more nutritious food due to motivation to cook but it really did not change things much. I already did these things but just needed to force myself a little bit.

I mean if you have a porn addiction and you are trying to quit then it's just fine to stay away and get rid of the addiction but there are no superpowers and this is not a secret technique that can completely change your life.. Please stop kidding yourself and stop thinking after every failure that you will have brain fog,be unmotivated, and feel bad. You are just doing those things to yourself by thinking that it will happen.. It's just in your head..

I know that some of you will not agree that NoFap is not actually legit but that's just fine.. I just want to add that I was miserable, had depression and was just too sexual and couldn't see beyond that.I fell in love with every attractive girl I saw and ended up ruining my best years from 18 to 24. But while NoFap didn't do anything for me antidepressants did.

I am not trying to promote anything here so I will not write the name of the medication I took for 6 months but it was a SNRI. I think that in this community we are or were here because we are not satisfied with our lives and want to change things and when I remember how I used to feel and think I just feel sorry for you guys because that's where I was. I am not trying to make you feel bad by saying that I feel sorry for you I just want you to feel some emotions rather if it's good or bad to just hear out what I will suggest because I think a lot of us need this and not abstaining from porn.

If you have a mental problem which is causing anxiety, depression then go to a doctor and ask him to give you a medication which will FIX you. If you alredy were taking medication and didn't worked than something will work, every medication works differently you just need to find the one which suits your needs.

In my opinion thinking that porn and masturbation has anything to do with it is just delusion and just making things worse for those who need help. Wish I had a buddy who told me this before I went through hell and I could live my best years better.

I just activated my account to write this after a long time. Everything is fine in my life now it's very hard to describe what's changed but it did for sure. I am not on medication anymore I quitted it a month ago if that's what you are wondering. This is me without any meds living like a normal healthy person.

    Take care and please consider.

So the gist of your post is for people to quit NoFap and to get on psych meds? If the meds helped you that is fine but I dont see how you have disproven benefits of NoFap. We have scientific evidence now of the need and benefits for a full brain reboot period. It sounds like you never completed a 6 month reboot. Maybe you could have skipped the meds altogether if you had. But you did not stay strong to hang in there and complete the experiment.

One way or the other I am glad you are feeling better and hope things remain positive for you. But if you go back to jerking off every day or even every 3 days you are still depleting your energy and mental clarity.

I actually am doing NoFap without thinking about it because I don't feel the urge to watch porn anymore. But if I do watch one day I won't feel bad about it. My point was not everyone has a porn problem. Actually my mental illness caused me to watch porn. For 4 years I thought porn was the problem but it wasn't. I was sick in the mind and got better thanks to meds. I am not suggesting that everyone has the same issue but I think majority of this community have mental problems just like I did. Because thinking that watching porn is causing such a crippling depression and anxiety is not normal.. If anyone having these issues and it's effecting their lives then I think medication is needed.

For me it was the mental illness causing the porn addiction and I think this happens to a lot of people and can't be fixed by not masturbating. I could not skip the meds because I had a very severe serotonin problem after abusing drugs and was paranoid but I see your point of course everything is possible by willpower but there are some cases which willpower alone isn't just enough. I was sceptical about drugs but it really saved my life and without modern medicine I don't think that I could be living like I am right now.

Hey does watching YouTube videos effect your progress? Or just surfing the internet? Is it possible to go full monk mode for 3 months?

The reason you dont see any benefits because you smoke to much weed and are taking drugs. you wont see the full benefits of NoFap unless you quit weed and everything else you are doing. I also went thru the same thing then i did NoFap with no drugs and just raw carnivore diet and i feel amazing , my streak is 278 days.

you brought up a very good points, brother. I have a tendency to blame my failures on PMO addiction. The truth may be that I am so fucking lazy and get myself into depressing circumstances because I did not workhard when I had to. But PMO certainly kept me in the darkness.

I am glad the anti-depressants have worked for you.
