Urgent Help w/ Chaser Effect

    As the title suggests, I'm having real trouble trying to abstain from the first few days. When I'm deep into a streak, it's easier to keep going because I've sort of forgotten what PMO feels like and do not want to experience it again. Now, I remember what PMO feels like and have been going almost daily for about a week now. Please help.

  3. From my short experience, do not relapse on anything graphical. No phone, no computer, no photos. Imagine making love and not sex with a woman and the chaser effect should be considerable weaker, counter it with workout, shower, clean your house, change your sheets.

    I did relapse on day 10 on purpose without porn only with a girl that I like and I am talking with sexual stuff occasionally and now its day 2 of a new streak, porn memories are weak, even if they come in my head I don't feel the triggers, its like they are not associated anymore but I won't let my guard down on this. Porn must be gone, as I am not smoking I should be able to not watch porn. I had a sexual dream this morning, but it was with a woman that I am talking frequently so I feel considerable more healthy as I was in 23 january, waking up, beating my meat to 5 10 different videos in a session, disgusting.

    I think relapsing its hard to evade for first streaks, but at least have control on it and remove porn from your life. Masturbation is a gateway for pornography for most of the people and be aware of that at all times, do cardio exercises until you can't walk if you feel the need to google porn, they are addicting too after 2 3 weeks. And nofap challenge is only hard first 2 weeks or so, you need to get busy with all that new free time.

    thing's that i always use after i relapse are staying away from internet, delete all social media app's, limit phone usage, delete all browser history,

    i even did not open this NOFAP forum

    u are a staff member of NOFAP, its a honorable duty that has entrusted to you by founder of NOFAP

    but if i can suggest to you the first 3 days-7 days, u must take a break from it,, i believe if its for your NOFAP progress then they will permit you to stay away for a while..

    then come back after a few day's and help them when u are stabilize and strong

    What I would say is when you're horny and there is a chase effect, try not to watch any porn. That's all you need to do. If let's say you still cannot quit any temptations, fap without porn and don't even fantasise. Focus on the single, monotonous movement of your hand stroking your cock. I think you would feel sick already.

    I'm trying to cut down on porn usage but like I'm so bored at home.

    The problem about watching documentaries, @KellticJK , is that I tend to browse my phone when I get bored of these documentaries and this can lead to me PMO'ing.
    I'll give this a shot and it sounds really sickening haha. Well said, thanks!

    That rush of dopamine you get for around three seconds when you PMO. I know how shitty it is to your brain but I just can't stop because I'm feeling so sick rn and it's the only part of the day where I feel good physically.

    Don't stay at home all day man. After lunch, or at some point of the day, leave your phone at home and go for a 30 to 60 minute walk. Ideally somewhere in nature.

    On that walk, think about what you're going to do next, so that the day can be as productive as possible when you get back home.

    Maybe even chat up a few strangers, or a cute girl on that walk. You got this dude!

    This sounds like a good idea. I really want to try it but hate going out alone with my phone (sounds really bad and it is) because I get worried due to the lack of communication I have with anyone else. It's also so fucking hot outside where I live so I'm more of a house hermit - I have a treadmill but it probably won't work to the same effect. I also am way too nervous talking to random people on the street but I want to improve my social abilities when it comes to random people.
