No buddy that is not stupid question,it honestly made me laugh.
Homeless=No house,no internet so it means they probably do MO.

 

There no happier there higher . They have nothing and nothing to lose , but they have less opportunity and live in a chronic circumstances of survival , drug abuse ,violence and mental health issues , where there going to.sleep and how there going to.eat , porn has fuck all to do with it. Where did you get the idea homeless people are happier .

 

When you're poor and don't have the right attitude, you'll get poorer

This is why those people take drugs I guess? It wastes your money and only brings temporary dopamine boost

 

He said they are happier because they don't have access to porn(very probably)so basically those people have one addiction less.
About life overall they surely not happy because of their position.

 

There are lots of reasons people end up homeless. Addiction of various kinds is a major factor. I would have expected there to be a bit more compassion in a forum where people struggle with addiction problems.

If internet P weren't free, some of us would be in severe financial difficulties right now. Some of us are in severe financial difficulties anyway, because of cam site addition or even financial dom fetish, etc. But all of us are missing out on one of the fundamentals in life, a satisfying love life with a partner, because we have been slaves to our addiction.

In my country, at least, homeless people are overwhelmingly male, so they have a total isolation when it comes to women (who won't look at them twice, of course). If they are lucky/at certain times of year they have access to hostels, and there are showers they can use, and some (limited) privacy in which they can indulge their vices (if they have them). They can access the internet in the library I guess, but the computers there have filters on of course (and it is too public!)

 

Well yes there happier because they don't have porn / probably , but there hardly happier because they very likely have many more addictions than any of us , porn is least of there worries

And in my opinion people aren't in relationships due to other reasons , porn is something singles probably use because of the lack of sex . And it can become addictive . But underlying reasons aren't probably porn . Porn probably only makes matters worse .

 

If you had to pay for porn I would never watch it . I've never paid watching cam sites either , paying money for something you can get for free is idiotic , I would never get into debt because of porn . If your indebt due to porn you need to get your self together , because your being robbed blind .

 

Yeah no shit Sherlock, people who have addictions do stupid things to feed them. I'm glad that you haven't gone down that route yet - hopefully you never will.

 

Why does it matter?

 

My good friend is a police officer. He said the one consistent thing they find in meth users' bags are porn and dildos. I'm not saying all meth users are homeless and all homeless are meth users, but there may be some correlation.

I have known only two people who chose the homeless life because they wanted to free themselves from the restrictions of conforming to society and the economy, to un-domesticate themselves, I suppose. One I knew quite well. He was a talented writer. He produced a fully finished literary novel of publishable quality but he was not interested in making money from it so it stayed in his notebook.

I also used to know a lot of people somewhere in between, who chose to squat, i.e. to live in unused houses, to avoid depending on being enslaved to the money economy.

Every other homeless person I've met has been lurching from disaster to disaster. Many have multiple addictions. Many have been sexually or physically abused. Violence and prison are a normal part of life for them. The recently co-opted word 'chaotic' is quite apt. Remember not many people live on the street all the time. Most are insecurely housed, squatting, staying with friends, getting a place and getting kicked out again, and so on. So quite likely that someone with multiple addictions and sexual trauma will also use porn.

every homeless person I’ve met has been living off the generosity of people who were enslaved to the economy. They harass customer at my work, they squat in large groups and completely trash people’s homes (it takes weeks to evict them even when they’re obviously violating your rights,) the police don’t have the resources arrest them unless they commit a violent crime (meaning they are free to leave dirty needles everywhere while the city squeezes homeowners) and they act like you ain’t shit unless you give them your money.

Oh, and they use public computers to PMO but I guess pointing that out triggers people here.
