Hello, I’m completely new to this group but not to the concept of “NoFap”. I have struggled with this problem since the birth of dial-up internet. And before that you using mags to counter feeling of loneliness growing up as a teenager. I have previously been successful for a number of year after read the book Porn Trap but it has started to creep back into my every day life, with my libido taking a hit, I hadn’t realised that was one of the symptoms.♂️ I didn’t realise so many other struggled with this and it wasn’t until I read Your Brain on Porn yesterday that I heard about your community, I’ve got to say I’m so thankful to see such a supportive group. I’m 6 days into to reboot with no cravings yet but I know they’ll come. what do you guys find is the best way to deal with them?

... yeh, making use of this site will help with motivation. When cravings hit, going for a walk is good. Other ways of combating is exercise, engaging in hobbies, meditation etc but when it comes down to it, we just have to learn how to discipline ourselves through perseverance & humility. We're gonna have to go through pain sometimes but know that its through those difficulties that make us greater.. positive changes are noticeable within oneself the longer you abstain which is all the more encouraging once you start to experience them.
