Dream Journal

I don't even usually remember the dream after waking up, even if I do it remains as as hazy as the mist.

Although, why are you keeping a dream journal? I mean, is there a reason?
I don't think I'll be doing this but would appreciate to hear your thoughts on this.

I do this and every time I mention it to others they act like I’m out of my mind.

I have 59 dreams right now that I recorded. Sometimes I read back through them to look for common themes and story ideas.

It’s an odd thing. I have to write it down as soon as I wake up because the memory of the dream quickly fades away. Sometimes it’s frustrating since I know there was more to the dream but I can’t remember the details.

I’d love to PM more with you about it if you’re interested.

 

In my case the reason I started is when I started recovery from porn addiction I was having horrific sexually related nightmares where I would commit some sort of sex crime.

I’d sometimes wake up in a panic.

I started writing out the dreams to try and make sense of what was going on.

It soon turned into writing out non-sex related dreams that I found interesting.

 

it's so cool to write such a diary, I think it's the best thing you can do for yourself and your peace of mind. I've been writing a dream journal for a long time. When I read back my notes sometimes it helps me to understand my desire better.

FOR EVERYONE SAYING THEY CANT REMEMBER DREAMS!!

Go to bed with intention, don't stop repeating a mantra, something like:
"I will remember my dreams" until u fall asleep. Recording them in the journal is whole another level of dificulty. Also for those searching for a reason to do it. Google up LUCID DREAMING.

 

That's sooo coool i've been practicing lucid dreaming from 2017 (on and off) and this is the first step to it. Google it! I'm about to start a third journal and it is always so interesting to read through them.

 

It seems that ream journal is a very useful thing. I need to start writing it too
