    Hey guys, Im new to Nofap. Ive never been someone whos been into writing threads, I mostly read what others post about and the responses. Id like to maybe change that, and learn how to take part in forums more
    often and get comfortable putting my ideas out there.

    Ill keep it short for a first post. I have been trying to quit porn for about 3 years now. Ive had very successful periods, and Ive been able to cut things like internet porn sites out of my habits! I dont feel the need to search those things up anymore. What Im REALLY struggling with is finding “pleasure” in other things; modeling photos, suggestive themes in blogs, etc. Not the direct content, but pretty much anything that can tempt me the same way.

    Ill be trying to post whenever I can find the free time, but I do want to make posting a regular thing. Im excited to see how the community is here! Thanks guys!

    Hi man and welcome. I am a newbie too, it's great to have more people along for the ride.
    Im no expert but it sounds like the other 'pleasurable' things you are seeking are almost a substitute for the porn you are giving up. It is great that you can drop porn but these activities might still be keeping you in the pmo mindset. Maybe someone with more experience can verify that! Did you have a particular goal in mind, like no PMO or substitutes for 90 days?
    Either way I wish you the best of luck on the journey and I look forward to reading your updates!

    Yeah, sounds like youre right. Its hard to go cold turkey on porn. Ive tried a few times already but I suppose Ive convinced myself to replace it with something just as bad. I dont want to have to start over again! Thanks for leaving a comment, I dont want to have to do this alone, Im not sure Ill make it too far.
