What would you do without internet?

I’d put together a nice 7 day streak.

 

Probably really enjoy it, reconnect with my family more, put aside all my work for a while and enjoy myself. Put together a nice 7 day streak, for sure. Ignore the news or get it from occasional radio listening (much healthier). Enjoy delving into my old DVD and CD/LP collections. Read 2 or 3 times as much per day. Practice music. Go on long walks outside. Sounds lovely.

After a week the frustrations would probably start - in lockdown we are relying on the internet to order things we need and stay in contact with our friends/relatives. And I also use it heavily for research for my dissertation.

Just a week though? Sounds great

 

Probably nothing. Would be worried about my counter-surveillance program. Might drive around and shoot guns for lulz. If it happened now, I would light off fireworks. My work would probably close because everything is through an ISP, so I would catch up on some sleep as everyone has been enjoying an extended vacation while I have been working my ass off.

 

I'd probably go camping. I wouldn't want to be in civilization's chaos when a disaster like that happens.

 

with the quarantine going on... nothing, probably have more conversations with my family to pass time, maybe play some cardboard games

if without quarantine, play offline games with friends at their or my home

 

Probably fumble for a little bit tbh. Then go talk to people a bit more more I dunno.

 

Study, train, play sports , maybe go out to the lake.. or give myself an haircut, lol.

 

I would grab one of the five backgammon sets I own, go out to the community pool and look all sad until someone was willing to play backgammon with me.

 

I would probably be a lot smarter without the internet.

 

Binge read all my books and probably try to cook some dishes and help my mom in the household chores,go for nice and cozy walks in the morning....but sadly these will not happen so why not face some reality and enjoy this fucking internet life.
