27 years old. PIED cured after 30 days hardmode. Fastest way is to get into a relationship.

Just wanted to encourage those steuggling with this ans share what helped me most to reboot and rewire: Getting into a relationship with someone that you trust and talking to them about it. I realized that a big part to overcome is the loss of confidence and the performance anxiety that comes after the first time you experience PIED. If you have an understanding and patient partner they can encourage and help you deal with this. I met someone as I was in my most recent reboot. First attempt at sex was at about day 15 of hardmode and failed miserably (like many other times before for me), but there was a lot of cuddling and petting which I believe helped me to start rewiring. Second attempt after a week failed as well but that was when I decided to open up and tell her about it - she was super kind, understanding and encouraging. A few minutes later after lots of foreplay and petting, it worked! Rock hard. I was so much more relaxed and confident after talking about it that I didn't feel any performance anxiety. It worked so well that we did it multiple times that night with zero failure. Haven't had any PIED since then. I haven't even thought about porn since I got into the relationship. I believe this is one of the fastest and least painful ways to deal with it. So guys, don' be afraid to go out there and try to be with someone because you think you'll be rejected due to your issue - also don't be afraid to be vulnerable (put your ego aside) and talk about it with someone you trust.
