I just got done with 1/2 of my first phase of NoFap (complete PMO). 45 days - wow, that was surreal. Life's changed a lot within those days. I can say I've changed a lot too. Or it could just be that nature's response to my personal development has changed. I know I'm writing gibberish but that's what I do when my mind is going smooth and I feel calmness all around me. Life, precisely, is delivering what I yearned for so long. My struggle with porn (PM w/o O) was no different than an average guy's. I don't wanna elongate it but yeah I can describe it without it being too boring: it's kinda like irregular compiled diary of cliches from a millennial's average days. There are patterns, triggers, flows, reflections and every other shit that you'd expect there to be. Since the past is only for lessons, let it be so. I wanna talk about the most "wanting of all things" that I am getting out of this marathon.
    • I have got increased mental clarity
    • Don't get bored that easily
    • People remember my name
    • Almost on the way to getting a part-time job at a factory where I was previously refused for being too slow
    • Time management skills got better, need further improvement though
    • My personal priorities have straightened up
    • Stress, anxiety and depression reduced by almost 99% - flatline wasn't too soul-damaging since I knew about it
    • Mood swings have reduced to 0 and my anger management got better, overall my temperament has improved for good
    • Urges, hell yeah I got rid of'em thankfully. Don't know how, but yeah they are no more
    • Girl attraction has increased a bit - at least they greet me at work (tbh that wasn't even my primary goal)
    A bit of what I wasn't expecting:
    • 2 or 3 wet dreams, don't know if last night I actually had one (Will wet dreams reduce if I transfer my excess energy to some effort requiring hobbies like weight lifting?)
    • Can pull all-nighters w/o any energy drinks
    • Can pull whole day on a medium strength breakfast
    • No binge eating, no diet-related shit that one would wanna avoid (Has anyone got "an awe-inspiring" diet/supplement advice? Would really appreciate if someone shares their experience with any particular diet changes)
    • Knee-cracks (whatever you call'em) have reduced drastically
    • I'm becoming more optimistic about things around me, increased positivity is enriching me. And boy is that even easy considering the times we are living in rn? I mean my dad doesn't have a job to start off with but guess what, I know he'll figure out something really better than a "9-5"
    • I wanna write more and more
    • Creativity is increasing, an example of this is my songwriting
I think I am in flatline phase right now. I hope it gets over soon. I know for sure that the next 45 days will be spirit-strengthening, perhaps less arduous and delivering more promises than just the afore-mentioned. I'm looking to developing quite a lot of skills + learning 3 new languages - all by the year-end. I know I'll do'em all.

I am to continue this lifestyle until death does me for the best.

    Love y'all,
    see you after a fortnight.

P.S. My sleeping habits are killing me. Although 6 hours of sleep are enough for me, I don't get out of the bed after at least 8-10 hours. The problem's not about waking up, it's about willingness to get outta my bed. I'd really do with some "not so conventional" advice for getting up early or sleeping less. So please share if you've got any.
