Hey. I found nofap through the no nut november challenge. I had a ~50 day streak at one point in the past year, but I have been struggling ever since. Really just on and off with porn. Trying ways to moderate, only masturbate, once every week, once every few days, etc.

I can't seem to completely give up porn from my life.
Sometimes I want to quit, but I guess my mind plays tricks on me days later.
My heavy consumption of caffeine may play a part in this.

I do know that I feel better when I don't watch porn or masturbate. I feel more connected with people.

So yeah, I find that I can go a period of days without, but I end up rationalizing reasons to relapse.

I have been clean from drugs and alcohol for a little over 9 months now. This is the next thing I need to conquer.

I'm looking to make a small accountability group where we can support each other and reach out when we need help.

Let me know if you are interested.

    Thanks for reading.

Hey, I've been on and off of Nofap since January, my longest streak being 6 days. I've also been having the same problems with rationalizing reasons to relapse, and especially this past week, Ive sunk really deep back into porn and masturbating.

Ive seen what a week with no porn can do and I want to get back to that point and more. Id definitely be down to have an accountability group if you are still interested.
Either way, thanks for posting. You saying you had a streak of 50 days is giving me hope for my own journey. Good luck dude.

    Welcome
Please, start studying carefully what's happening in your mind > https://oceanrecoverycentre.com/2016/07/the-ultimate-guide-to-overcoming-internet-porn-addiction/

First time without porn will be stressful , but if you resist , in some months you will feel reborn.

If the first times a person relapse easly, it's okay.
The streaks becomes even longer , day by day.
Don't porn anymore, it's better to struggle and at the last to relapse than to look at porn.
No more instagram pictures of models. No more erotic imagines , erotic stories or erotic asmr.
If you experience ''flatline'' and low libido , resist.

An effective weapon to overcome urges and thoughts : mindfulness.
The brain will try to win you and to get some triggers for the seek of dopamine. Resist
