I wasn’t entirely sure where to put this, but I’ve been having a lot of trouble the last few days with being unproductive because I’m so horny. It’s difficult to do anything without thinking about sex/masturbation which is screwing me up because I’m taking 18 units this semester. It’s tempting to think that I would be more productive if I just masturbated (not to porn though), but I’m here to see if anyone has solutions or can convince me otherwise.

FYI the last time I masturbated was 2 weeks ago, and I haven’t had a wet dream or any release since then. I know that’s not a very long time and that I’m just at the beginning, but all the same I still am looking for solutions. Thanks.

Because I don’t regularly log in to NoFap. Is there a way to turn that off?

  3. I've heard of ways of transmuting sexual desire into productive energy. Taking cold showers, cleaning up, meditating, exersize, all ways of using the energy, and once you do you'll be driven to do things with your energy including school work.

Practice mental concentration. 45 minutes a day total minimum.

Do the singular mental concentration builder for like 30 minutes: Basically sit down, put a target preferably at eye level 1-2 meters away such as a dot on a paper, candle flame, etc... and gaze it by simply SEEing it. No 'pushing' or tensing. No moving of the body, moving around or daydreaming. Ever been scared all of a sudden, perhaps in a silent room and suddenly fully turned your attention around to the source of the noise or scare? You just payed attention to it with a focused yet empty mind. Try to imitate that. Just relax into it. Don't expect anything.
This is actually a pretty advanced concentration technique with focus or rest on the visual consciousness.
(if you feel very tense, don't stop practice, just take a deep breath).

Then immediately or soon after if you can, do another 30 minutes of the 1st exercise here: https://www.artofmanliness.com/articles/12-concentration-exercises-from-1918/ It's basically a similar concentration practice but focusing or resting on the tactical consciousness (the sense of feeling). Just relaxing the organ of feeling (the body) and using the sense of feeling (feeling..).

This second exercise^ actually comes from a book Power of Concentration by Theron Q Dumont. It's a free book online and it's a recommended if you have time.
