So I’ve been doing No PMO for a few months now, with a set back or 2 in the middle, but have been going at it pretty seriously for about 3 weeks. I also deal with PE due to trying to finish masturbating as quick as possible. But I’ve read on here that edging, but not finishing, is the best way to deal with PE. So I’ve been doing that a few days a week. From what I understand, you’re supposed to just focus on not finishing and train your brain to not associate the feeling of masturbation/sex with finishing right away. So I’ve been so this for about 30 minutes and trying not to get myself too close to the end. Just wondering what people’s thoughts are on this? Is this a bad idea? Will it actually help?
Absolutely if you have PE this edging process is necessary in my opinion. Its about managing the stimulus, learning to recognise the point of no return before you reach it. What I've learned - and this was a major discovery, is to keep the pelvic muscles relaxed. Look up the BC muscle. Contracting this pumps blood into the penis, and if you find yourself doing this, this is contributing massively to your PE because this muscle also involuntarily contracts just before orgasm. So if you are contracting the bc muscle this is mimicking orgasm and kinda tricking your arousal mechanisms into coming before you're ready. Stop contracting the BC muscle and the uncontrollable urge to come is massively reduced. But yes your original question - I honestly don't see how you can fix PE without it.
