Juice cleanse - bear with me

    Don't underestimate the power of rebooting your whole system holistically.

    I was already physically fit, but spaciness, depression, ADD have been increasingly crippling problems over the course of years.

    Just like cravings for a dopamine kick from a wank, the temporary high from a greasy caloric meal and a sugary pop is not serving your system.

    Nine days, nothing but juice from a nationwide delivery service (great way to kickoff before committing to a juicer and the farmer's market, which btw is full of attractive ladies) the most profound effect I discovered (not to mention muscles popping out) was the energy and clarity of mind.

    I've had depression and malnutrition most of my life, I was doing shakes and vitamins but this is the next level of health. How we were meant to eat was vegetables and animals, not processed food. How we were meant to have sex was with each other, not with our hands in front of a screen.

    My mind doesn't turn to PMO or garbage food to get high- my nervous system has micronutrients taking care of it. I'm freaking HAPPY. The idea of P is now depressing. I'm randy for guys in a way I wasn't most of the year, when isolation and depression kicked my ass. I want to work out, dance, run around the damn block and talk to people, just get shit done and think about the future and it seems easy and possible now. It's a damn miracle.

    Heads up, get outside and get some Vitamin D from the sun and JUICE CLEANSE! It's a beautiful summer! Respect your body-brain and your body-brain and your mind will snap into a grateful, content state.

    I agree with you 100% I made it to 28 days and then relapsed but The week I relapsed was the longest I went without exercise (2 weeks) Since december. For me a lot of my ability to refrain from M'ing in general comes from releasing energy in other ways. I am out of town now for a month so it's a good new starting point. I truly believe diet/exercise helps tremendously. Best of luck to you!

    What's your regimen? I don't want to go too heavy on the glucose, i.e. orange juice and such.

    I've heard some stay away from spicy foods, honestly I've been eating pork rolls with chilli, hot curries and chilli beef pizzas as usual and lots of kimchi with my Korean friends and I'm up to week six.
    Is there basis for the chilli theory or is it wives tales? I hear chilli actually kicks you a good luck of endorphins.

    Seeing this post makes me consider fasting (I occasionally fast on fruit/tomato juice and sour yoghurt, not in a while though).
