I lived with integrity for 63 days. No porn, no masturbation, no mental day dreaming, no objectification of women. I fought successfully against many urges, some big some small. And then I failed. I relapsed 4 times over a period of 4 days (three times three days ago, and once today). This is embarrassing. It is disappointing. But there is only one thing I can do now: restart from scratch, get back to basics, jump back on the horse and keep up the good fight. This is the way, the only way.

A crushing defeat should be no excuse to abandon a good war. Honorable warriors can be defeated, but they do not lie; they do not cheat. They are transparent about their failures, and when they fail, they pick up their sword and go back to the battlefield. This is the only thing I can do now.

I had committed to doing 40 days of NoFAP. I did 63. By some measures, this could be called a success, but it is not because I could have done a lot better. To anyone who has failed recently, let's go back to the battlefield and be honorable again!

I just failed after 43 days and I sincerely empathize with your pain. I am doing the same, I am going back to the battlefield and fighting the good fight. Lets do this!

Porn addiction can be overcome and relapse does not have to be a part of recovery. Never forget that.

    WOTL, Eldish...

Congrats to both of you on some pretty impressive streaks.
You may have "failed," but you're in encouragement to everyone striving to get to your numbers.... Like me.

Cheers, and best wishes on a successful reboot!

I failed after 54 Days that was back in April of this year, ever since then it's been hard for me to get back on a consistent streak. Also another thing don't feel bad man I know it's disappointing but you just went two months without PMO that's a big accomplishment you should be proud man, but again don't let this bring you down, there's still hope.

  5. You made it to 63 days, which is something commendable OP. You have fallen down but as long as you still have your sword then get up and keep on fighting the battle against PMO. Don't let this discourage ya; accept your mistakes, learn from them and use what you learned for future references.

I stumbled after over a month, but I'm picking myself up, learned from my mistakes and I intend to make it to the end of this year free of PMO influences. Good job brother, and I wish you full success on your own journey.

Many thanks for all your comments and encouragement. I am now back to Day 1 but I am fully committed to beating my earlier record. I will be relentless. The "addict" stabbed me in the back, but this was only because "I" let him. I am now back on my feet and ready for the fight. There is an element of humility in being back at Day 1. I have again a "beginner's mind". I will report on what I do; I can't really offer much advice at this point. A beginner should listen and learn, but most importantly it should talk little and DO. This is about DOING. And I am convince we can choose the right path and do the right thing once again.

  10. Get back into the battlefield @warriorofthelight70.I have fallen too a few days ago.Defeats are not easy to accept but we must forward so we can cherish victory when we defeat the enemy.
