That moment that my brain is overloaded with the temptation to just open up a website on my phone, and look to see what things are there and that be the end... Then start by opening up one video, thinking this will be it. That proceeds into another from the related section or just going back to the home page and looking for more. On good days I catch myself in my tracks, on bad days I end up giving in and feeling horrible later... what kind of things can I do to fight the initial urges and not even get to that point, day in and day out?
Some methods available are: Porn blocker - a must, but always combine it with a mindfulness method, as you've asked for. Constructive Living - (See: http://www.nofap.com/forum/index.ph...elings-and-doing-what-needs-to-be-done.43720/) R.A.I.N (A mindfulness technique - http://www.tarabrach.com/articles/RAIN-WorkingWithDifficulties.html) Yoga or Tantra. Try Kundalini yoga. I've never tried it myself, but, it might work for you. This list isn't exhaustive, of course. You learn through experience to tailor the methods available so they are specific to your PMO patterns. The best policy is to avoid acting on urges at all as it's difficult to go against the momentum. Of course, easier said than done.
I go through the exact same thing when I get an urge. One thing that will work well (hopefully) is to sit back, close your eyes, and think about NOT PM, but O, and imagine that feeling you get a few seconds after. Embrace that feeling, and realize that'll be the outcome if you further continue the dirty habit. As soon as you get the SMALLEST urge, think about it, and it should remind you as to when you were on day 1 and why you had made that vow to quit. Fight to live another day!
