I'm around 50 years old. I try to avoid porn. My wife is away, so sometimes I'll look up sex-related topics. I'm thinking of some stuff to try when she gets back (Karezza). So porn has shown up on the screen a bit recently. I try to avert my eyes while clicking the button, stuff like that. As far as penis sensitivity goes, do you or anyone else have any experience with stopping sexual stimulation for this period of time and sensitivity coming back from someone who is middle aged? I'm thinking lost sensitivity might have something to do with age. I used to enjoy (sort of) having my wife do post-ejaculatory stroking and things like that back when I was sensitive. I'd squirm and be overwhelmed if she just played with the top of the head during a hand job 15 or so years ago. I thought either age, or brain-rewiring from this type of play did away with the sensitivity. Most of it went away pretty fast. Would a month reset this and enable me to experience this sort of intense play again? I've read two weeks elsewhere? Would that do it? Can anyone middle aged or older tell me if this works, or is it just my age? My wife is coming back in less than a month. For good marriage ethics, my philosophy is to give it to her whenever she feels she has a need for it, with few exceptions. So I'm not planning on turning my wife down if she wants it. She wants me in her for sex, and other activities do not seem to interest her. I might consider doing something that does away with sensation-- like a condom if she can stand it and I don't get so bored it makes me go soft. But we both hate them. I've probably used 10 in my life. I was young then, and erections weren't an issue, but I don't know about now. It seems like sex with a condom is 10 or 20% of sex as far as penile stimulation goes. From a hedonistic perspective also, there is emotional pleasure that comes from sex even if the penis head is not that sensitive. Sex still feels good even if sensations are a bit more dull. Does some kind of lotion on the penis during a period of abstaining help restore sensitivity? Again, the question is for middle aged and older, does abstaining from sexual activity restore penis head sensitivity-- that kind of sensitivity where 1. if you get really aroused there is this great pleasure centered in the head of the penis if it is stimulated. 2. if not extremely, the penis head can be almost ticklishly overstimulated if combined with frenulum or other stimulation AND/OR 3. Post ejaculatory head stimulation is unbearable hypersensitive and overwhelming. Does anyone have experience getting any of these back.
