2 big problems (not in THAT manner!)

    Greetings fellow abstainers,
My first problem is with these flashes of the porn that I've watched or seen. They appear the most right after a relapse, when I'm experiencing the chaser effect, or when I'm missing and fantasizing about my girlfriend who I'm in a long-distance relationship with.
They come in uninvited: The scenes or images flash randomly and persist in my mind at random intervals; sometimes they come and go in an instant, other times they last for many minutes (5-10 minutes), and by the end of it, my inner voice screams "NOOOOO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD! I WON'T HAVE ANY OF IT!". It's very frustrating, and I don't have a good solution to this problem.
My second problem is a visual one. Ever since I've been addicted to Internet pornography, my eyes pointed lower and lower down girls' bodies whenever I see them, so now, instead of looking at them right in the eye or the face, my eyes point at their chests, hips, butts, and legs (specifically the thighs) first. This is very concerning. Is this normal? I think it's because of the perversion brought on by my addiction. Could you guys help me with these problems? Thank you very much for your advice in advance.

Yeah flashes of porn. That porn-addict brain trying to keep the dopamine rolling. Just relax, take some breaths and move on. Don’t dwell on a relapse—figure out why it happened, make mental notes to use that data to help prevent one down the road and move on.

Looking at a woman’s body is normal. We’re hardwired to do it. But not in a creepy, sexual-objectifying way. The difference between a creep and a gentleman is you never see the gentleman checking out a woman’s breasts.

Practice keeping your eyes on hers. If that’s hard, use this truck—focus on the bridge of the nose, right between the eyes.

Thanks for the advice. I also noticed that the longer I abstained from porn, the higher my eyes pointed. Maybe there are some strange things with me when I'm hooked up on porn.
