Suicidal Thoughts

Yes. They have progressively worsened too. You are certainly not alone. I feel self condemnation is to blame in most cases. I'm almost 30, and I keep telling myself "I mustn't commit suicide until I have lived a life outside of porns influence to see the difference" but I think it's about more than that. I think with me anyway, self condemnation is to blame and I need to accept I am an addict that will not and will never have it all figured out. Life outside of porn will never be a strait perfect line.

The more we address our self condemnation and think better of ourselves, the less we will have those thoughts.

With others, suicidal thoughts come from the challenges of life. It's always very cliche to tell people "things will get better" while in those moments the darkness can be so great we can't see things possibly getting better. That's also where I am right now, but it's one step at a time. Coming to these forums and developing a habit with it has helped me.
It's a good place to shed baggage.

And for your information, mental problems could be coming from PMO (especially if you only have them after you have first started PMO), so keep that in mind. Don't worry too much about the irrational thoughts, you don't have to react to them. They will keep coming, but just watch them come and go. And as you go on with your journey, living a PMO-free life, then you will find them fading gradually. Such recovery is reported by many people, and I believe this will happen to you too.

It's an everyday thing for me.
Some days, its just funny to me and inspiring that it doesn't affect me, other days, its like it's looking over my shoulder and whispering into my ear.
