Absence of evidence doesn't necessarily mean that it proves things to be one way or the other. It could mean ignorance is still impactful as a factor. I'm not implying this is the case here, but there's plenty perverse incentive out there based on the fallacy that twists data to sound more true than it should through evidence of absence. Be warned of people who want to make their argument sound truer so they can confirm biases.

Taking my time here to write this says I care about both subjects (speech and neurochemistry), so - what I have to say also should be taken with suspicion. Always exert doubt when pharmaceutical interest is involved.
