Hey the import file list for cold turkey blocker isn't working for me. Also the pastebin screen shots appear not to be working. Thanks again for all the help!

Hi, thanks for all your work you have put into Fapsecure, has helped and done wonders! I would like to ask though is it possible to have a more permanent solution to Fapsecure? I've been using it for over a year and keep the password in a lockbox, but what keeps getting me and ruining my streaks at times is the 4 hour delay to remove. I have changed it to the max 12 hours. But keep letting myself down there and is it safe to block Activity Monitor and Terminal in the blockedapps.txt? Thanks

Hey mate, I can increase the max delay to 1 day but I am afraid some people could lock themselves out. Would 1 day be enough for you? Also, it is not safe at all to block Terminal using fapsecure. Never do this please. But it's okay to block activity monitor. Have you tried blocking Terminal using cold turkey?

How to block ip addresses? Like the ip addresses of proxy websites which are readily available on the search engine?

I recommend using pluckeye and blocking keywords using flee commands.

    block ip using using pf.conf Refer to these 2 guides apple.stackexchange /questions/373676/how-to-block-an-ip-address apple.stackexchange /questions/327165/pfctl-to-add-rules-at-runtime-without-editing-etc-pf-conf

Hi, I had to reinstall macos earlier and went from Monterey to Ventura however fapsecure no longer works with macOS Ventura, no longer enforces dns, blocks apps like tor, etc etc

I'm not sure why because I can't upgrade to Ventura at the moment. Really sorry.

Thanks for getting back to me! That's annoying! :(
Wonder what could have happened to stop it from working, because It appears as though it installed properly but it didn't change anything except that it did lock files. And trying to uninstall with the password thats generated doesn't work either, oddly enough.

Same here on Sonoma Public Beta. Files locked but can't be removed.

Having trouble blocking users & groups on Big Sur 11.7.10 using Fapsecure, as well as Cold Turkey. I tried adding the line to the blocked apps file "com.apple.preferences.users.remoteservice", as well as adding a line to protected files "/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist" after manually disabling users & groups via Terminal. However, neither rule gets enforced even after updating/running Fapsecure. Has anyone had this issue and what's a good way to lock down the users feature? Thanks!
