hey should i quit caffeine?

    hey, im just wonderin if i just quit caffeine? im hooked on it. honestly, i am really sensitive to caffeine, and i actually like what comes out of it.
    when i had my dose of caffeine?
    1. i am more happier, and confident, and no anxiety
    2. i run extremely fast
    3. i type extremely fast
    4. my hearing is improved (i have bilateral sensory-neural hearing loss)
    5. helps my creationism
    6. i remember better
    7. reaction time is off the chart
    8. more flexible.
    9. higher pain tolerance
    theres probably more that i forgot.

    but the real question, should i stop? i know about the withdrawal symptoms, but can you get this naturally after stopping? ive been drinking caffeine since ive been breathing air.

    like when i was 6, ik i probably shouldve never started early. i take it from soft drinks, and energy drinks. and im wondering if there is healthier replacements besides coffee.

    not a fan of the taste.
    im not sure if it has a high mg of caffeine, but if it does. i probably consider it.

    Caffeine is highly addictive and is a stimulant for the mind. In high doses it can cause major fatigue and often times migraines/headaches. I have no problem with using caffeine, but if you feel that you need it, I would highly recommend seeing a medical professional about weining yourself off.

    If you can't get through the day without an outer stimulus, it is very unhealthy and can cause major problems just like a PMO addiction. Unlike PMO though, it can be used in moderation. A stable use of caffeine can help people with depression or energy deficiency. Like I said though, definitely see a doctor for help

    yeah, thats definitely is a big problem. is there like a way to naturally have high energy and motivation as caffeine gives almost instantaneously? from when i was a little boy, i was always outgoing and boisterous. and always running around.

    haha, when my uncle was teaching me how to play baseball. i didnt know what to do, so i was running around the perimeter of the stadium for a good half an hour and they were chasing me incredibly fatigued, while i was still energized. and they said, that i did it again after catching me.

    Caffeine seems to have little, to no effect on me whatsoever. I can have a coffee and sleep like a baby. :) If I stop it, I get mild headaches for a few days. For me, there is no correlation to addiction to masturbating to porn whatsoever. o_O

    my second question still hasnt been answered, can you naturally get high energy levels back if you abstain from caffeine?

    Caffeine gives a sort of "manufactured" energy high. I believe you can get back your normal energy levels, perhaps even more, if you change a few things in your life. Cut out the caffeine, start eating healthy, exercising, develop a consistent sleeping schedule, and keep hydrated (with water, preferably). With these changes, I think you'll experience the energy you've been trying to inject into yourself through caffeine. Good luck.

    Drinking caffeine is in a way borrowing energy from the future. Caffeine is a mild poison the body reacts to by pumping up adrenaline and making you feel awake and energized. It's a way to force your body to feel energized. Caffeine is absolutely no replacement for good sleep and healthy nutrition. You definetely shouldn't become dependent on it. If you don't drink it regularly and only when you actually need the energy boost it's fine but don't let it become a habt. Otherwise your body needs caffeine to feel well and awake.

    Caffeine in small doses sometimes is alright, it won't be detrimental. But if you consume a large amount on a daily basis you will start to whither your body slowly to the point of dependency on it to function as you want it to function. I used to use coffee to help me at times on my work, but I did start noticing that after prolonged use, I was beginning to get addicted to it. So I researched about it, and discovered that there is very little health benefits from caffeine, and partly the reason being because society as a whole consumes too much of it.

    Think of it as helping your brain and reactions go into overdrive. Caffeine will get you there, but your body will be working beyond its normal limits (as caffeine helps you ignore mental and physical fatigue) and once the high on caffeine is over, the damage is done.

    In fact, apples have very similar effect to caffeine. But they are a much healthier option as the component that gives you the benefit in apples is natural glucose. So why not try cutting down on the caffeine and using other natural alternatives like fruits and see how you feel after some time?

    I think caffeine is bad for your kidneys.

    If so, sounds like your kidneys might be in bad shape. I do know, a lot of vegans I know of don't drink coffee because they say it's not healthy. I'm not sure, why they think it's not healthy.
     
  15. Coffee is best viewed as a medicinal type of 'herb'. Surely one cannot outright say whether is healthy or not.

    It is a supreme source of antioxidants for example (the organic varieties, cold pressed, and other fancy dancy processed varities which reduce acidity and other negative traits and lessen the toll on your adrenals are best if one is going to imbibe, I don't anymore).

    Headaches after caffeine withdrawal are a sign of a slight physical caffeine dependence.

    I like coffee, but I reduced it to 1 or 2 cups per day, which I really savour. It's a ritual almost - good espresso, made of good beans, in porcellan cups - not a quick coffet-to-go in cheap paper cups.

    BTW, green tea is also a good recommendation. Try a good Japanese Sencha. From one spoon of tea, you can brew one liter (!) of tea. It's very healthy (it's said to prevent cancer), and it also contains caffeine, but not so much.

    I have been off caffeine for 27 days. I feel so level and mellow. I also quit PMO, weed, and caffeine at the same time, so I can't isolate the impact of each variable, but why rock the boat? Kick it for 30 days and see how it impacts you.

    It seems like everyone forgot this little piece of text:
    So, Alex, you're not addicted or benefit from caffeine, you're taking truckloads of sugar and other substances the industry puts into soft and energy drinks. There is not much wrong with a cup of coffee but you're fighting a different beast here.
    Check the composition of what you drink, there is more than just coffee or caffeine in there.
