Everytime I get a good streak I notice that after about 10 days I crave cigarettes. I should say that I am an ex smoker that quit about 10 years ago. A couple of times I have found myself getting an e-cig for a bit of a nicotine blast. I always throw it away after a couple of days as have no desire to be a smoker again. My theory is that part of my brain remembers the dopamine high from smoking cigarettes. So when the porn goes my brain hunts for other dopamine sources in its memory. Has anyone else experienced this? Does my little theory make sense?
Yep, had the same thing when I tried quitting e-cigs cold turkey MO seemed to take the edge off the nicotine withdrawal. Don't understand why, but maybe dopamine related.
Your body simply tries to find another way to get your dopamine rising again. PMO is not available to it so it starts craving something else. For some it's food, for you it's smoking for somebody else it might be alcohol. Don't give in to your urges. Good luck to you.
Ah now that is interestng. So you experience it going the other direction. PMO helped your nicotine withdrawal. For me nicotine helps PMO withdrawal. So the two things must be working on the same mechanism. So can we say that PMO is addictive in the same way as cigarettes and possibly as addictive as cigarettes?
when your not jackin the D, you get frustrated when you have flashbacks of the videos, and if your getting out around sexy ladies, your D gets mad, and you cant jack its head the bobbor. so you smoke cuz your stressed your missing out on the D pulling while you stare at the toes. cuz you cant do it
Yes, it's true... For me, I tend to look for sugar instead. But hey that's improvement! I believe it will get better once the brain gets better.
Yep, had major issues with this as I quit both smoking (cigs and vaping) and PMO at the same time. It felt like the urges were literally fighting each other and it was hard to tell which one my body wanted more. Needless to say, I tried to avoid people as much as possible because everything that came out of me was rage.
