Is anyone more excited about this than I am? Because as soon as I heard it's coming out tomorrow, I think I shat myself! The Final Fantasy series has always captured me, because of the great storylines they come up with. The people at Square really know how to make good stories. But, to know that these 2 video games will not only get an HD upgrade, but to know that these are the "international versions" of both games, is AWESOME!

I'm just excited because I never beat both games, so for once, I will be able to beat them both in HD glory! Anyone else lovin' this?

The only Final Fantasy games I ever played was FF7 which was available on Steam (only a few FF titles on Steam), so I have no idea about the other games. I finished FF7 two months ago and it was really cool and another great way to spend time instead of ;) you know, PMO.

Well, I would def. recommend it. You'd like it if you liked FF7.

  4. Played FF7 and loved it, half of VIII and thought it was good, little of XII, barely anything of XIII. Maybe I'll try this but can't shell out the money right now. Also loved Crisis Core and Hope they get FF Type 0 in English because it seems similar. Also agree, the story makes a game for me.

Really? XIII was awesome for me. Graphics were outstanding, and I thought the story, while hard to follow the first time of playing it, was good. I understood the plot better after playing it multiple times. And the summons in FFXIII were like eye candy, and they were plain awesome, especially Bahamut!

  6. I don't doubt it, I just kind of stopped playing games in general. The dialogue in XIII was a little weird to me. I know it's translated, but sometimes I think FF tries to hard to be "deep" and mysterious and I'm just thinking, "Who talks like that?!". I only got a small taste, but hopefully it got better. I'm trying to get back into gaming on my xbox 360 and maybe wii so we'll see how it goes!

Well, I know FFX's is pretty deep too, and you learn a new language in that one as well. Kind of cool.

It's a good thing though that we have gamers on here!

I bought this the day it came out and ... my PS3 died. I bought a new one, but I still haven't been been able to do anything with it. It's become a whole drama thing.

On my Old PS3 I had installed a 500GB HD. So I bought the new ultra-slim PS3 that doesn't come with a pre-installed HD. Well, you can't just take out one HD and plug it in the other. Oh no. You still have to do the "data transfer". So I have to re-format my old external HD (which, fortunately, mostly contained porn so I'm able to literally hit two birds with one stone here).

Well Windows Vista only formats to exFAT and not FAT32 (which is the format type of the PS3). I read somewhere, however, that exFAT was, like, the cumulative format type for all FATs. So I figured that'd be fine. Wrong. A whole day of formatting 1TB wasted. So I found a way to format to FAT32 through the DOS Prompt and now it's sitting at 5% complete after being at it for an hour.

I figure I'll finally get to play Final Fantasy X/X-2 ReMaster sometime next week. Goddammit.
