POLL: Have you talked with friends/family about NoFap or porn addiction?

That's great to hear. I think I'm going to talk to a few more people about this when I reached a longer streak so I'm better in control of it I guess.

 

Talking about P and NoFap can be awkard, especially around family. I've briefly mentioned it with my dad. He does not really understand it though, since he never uses a computer and does not get why you can't just not search for porn. He doesn't understand the addiction side.

That being said, I do have a group of friends that I meet with on a regular basis to talk about abstinence from PMO. They don't participate in NoFap, I wish they would. It is because of religious beliefs (Christian) that we are bound together fighting this evil.

 

I can't seem to shut up about it. Mentioned it to my best mate/ colleague yesterday, and he just about fell off his chair. He thought it was way too extreme. Well, if it's a choice between 'extremes', I know which one I want to go for.

 

I talked with one of my best friends about it yesterday. I didn't say anything about addiction, I told him about the benefits.
His reaction? "Dude, that makes a LOT OF SENSE, I'll try it!"
Honestly I didn't expect that reaction, I'm sure muy buddy isn't an addict, but less porn in his life won't hurt him, right?
