Hi everyone I did not know a support group like this existed and I am very happy to be joining in. First off, 5 days, NoFap, no porn. Just joined the March challenge on Reddit this morning. Quick introduction. 32M & Married. I have been addicted to porn since I was a teenager. Some sick turd showed me porn when I was like 5 or 6 (because he was trying to sexually abuse me) and it just stuck in my head. Started watching porn regularly since I was 13. Initially anything would excite me, but gradually my needs became diverse and perverse. Have tried abstaining multiple times and failed. Always because of some stupid excuse I gave myself or because I did not recognize a trigger. Since I moved to California and got married, it got worse. I started frequenting webcam sites (which to me is cheating on my wife and I hate myself for that). I even started considering visiting prostitutes etc. Finally got a hold of myself and shook myself awake. Hoping to make a lifestyle change here and glad to see I am not the only one. Welcome @Brian Jhumroo and good luck. We have joined at a similar time and also share a similar back story. My only advice is to own the mistakes you have made in the past and use them as your motivation to change. This site is a fantastic resource and I have already been inundated with a wealth of information from other members. It will be your best friend as you tackle this thing, head on.
