Any others here on this journey also battling illness?

I know PMO made my condition worse because I would fall into slumps and not manage my care and would use up the little energy I had for something I knew I would regret every single time. This isn't just for the great mental side effects of non - PMO, but for a longer and fuller life!

    Lets share our journey!

Welcome to NoFap. What illness are you battling? It stands to reason that if you have multiple challenges, then life is much more demanding. If you share, maybe others will share too.

That must be so hard to manage and maintain a quality of life! Have you seen the documentary about it 6/7 years ago?

I have chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). I find it tough to cope sometimes.

I have seen that film! Thanks for sharing IGY, I can relate to fatigue that's for sure (maybe not in the same way), having no energy sucks and then wasting energy on PMO sucks even worse. Another reason I made this thread is because someones condition can isolate them and lead them into this habit as well, which is semi - true with me. But determined to beat it!

I am in less pain today @65roses, and I hope you can say the same today mate. :)

Does your CF directly affect your mood. :( Or do you feel low because you are constrained because of your limitations?

I'm not always 100% of the time limited but more so then not. Which is the real kicker, you get a glimpse of normality only to end up back at square one. PMO definitely came from this but has ended up keeping me at square one and making me un-motivated and all the other things that come along with it. I have tried in the past and failed every time, but now I'm here and taking it very serious. Day 5 onward!
