    Hi!

    So I guess it might be indeed a good idea to just describe briefly mys truggles for my own sake and maybe you guys will have some useful tips.

    I have been recommended to take a look at NoFap by a priest who knows I struggle a bit with masturbation and erotic thoughts. These has been a struggle for many years, with various intensities and is generally not related to porn, as I thankfully manage to stay away from it.

    welcome, TadLel!

    there are many resources here. many do relate to porn, since that is something most of us struggle with very regularly. I pray that you will be able to find a way to use them in your unique, but shared struggle. My expectation is that if the Holy Spirit guided your priest to recommend you come here, He will also help make it worth your time and effort. And, as you already know, it will require effort. perhaps not the same type effort you have used in the past, but changing your life is not easy.

    thank you for your openness, that is fine first step in becoming the man you are called to be.
