    So I found NoFap by watching a TedTalk last night. I couldn't get to sleep. I was sad and I was lonely. I was thinking about all the times I had tried to quit porn. I was thinking about my two girls, ages 5 and 2, and my wife who no longer live with me. I was thinking to myself "How will I ever get this out of my life?". I have tried so many things, and now that I have the freedom to do whatever I want (my wife has told me I can have the computer and she doesn't care to check up on me anymore) the temptation is actually greater than it ever was before. I am seeing a therapist once every couple of weeks and she is great. But it is just one tool that hasn't completely solved my problem. I am hoping that by joining this site I can begin to implement another tool that can lead me out of the The Porn Trap.

    Welcome and all the best on your journey. It can be a bumpy one as you already know from trying these different things (what were they btw?).
    But you've got your family in mind that helps you remember and keep strong along the way.

    Get educated with all the available ressources that float around the forum and other websites,
    Set manageable goals that you will increase everytime you reach one,
    Get insight by trying and stumbling and learning from it and trying again,
    Get support in times of need,
    And you'll get far!
