Old Man Young Man - New Arrival

My career with porn began when I was 11 or 12. It was all pretty soft in the late 1950's. If I'd have known I would still be using porn almost every day in my '70s I'd have been pretty shocked. This is not something I've been able to grow out of. I have been reading about some of the science behind what happens when I use internet porn, and although it makes me feel like a lab rat, it also helps me understand why I suspend all sanity to act out, then regret it because I go on too long, or go outside the bounds of my usual taste. The affect on my love life with my wonderful partner needs to be taken seriously. So I feel I've found exactly the right place for me. I hope I can be helped here, and be of help.

Andy, another welcome. Thank you. I am on the verge of tears to be honest. I feel so moved. This is not cancer, and I am grateful to be alive and feeling sexual at my age (71), but this is a vital mission I want to take on, and give a good result to myself as a gift.

I also want to say Andy, that the tears – if they had come – would have been of relief and joy not sadness, I am pretty blown away by finding this amazing community.

 

I'm doing OK at the moment. Got a few days....... it feels great during the day, but I find going to bed triggering. I am not stopping, I have stopped. That's what I am telling myself.
