2016 is an difficult year for me, too. I discovered NoFap on Reddit, looking for help and still masturbating & relapsing to this day. I still think I'm a brainless zombie since.

 

Also 29 mate, but yep you're going through one of the main symptoms of flat lining. I'm experiencing it also currently.

Enough time away from porn will give you the best chance of getting that mojo back ;-)

 

Man I appreciate your post. I have the same issue.

I don't at all get aroused with gorgeous women around me. That thing down there is dead to me, it won't do anything.

I also get told it's flatlining and it's temporary. I do believe these messages.

Hey Barso. I think you need to chill. Stay with NoFap as long as possible. If you relapse just go back to no pmo. Just look forward to the day you find yourself in the arms of a beautiful woman. Just let it come naturally. The fact you don't get all excited at first glance of a woman just means, perhaps you are waiting for someone worthwhile.

 

You gotta stick with NoFap for the long haul. There will be up and downs, downs and more downs but at the end more ups than downs!

 

it'll take a few years I would imagine. but the good news is, from personal experience, you will get back 'to normal'

 

things will get back to normal for you, after a time of NoFap. after you quit p things will get better, then you quit all p substitutes. relapsing is part of the process.

 

In my opinion, you are probably going through a flatline. Flatlines happen to people all the time... sometimes more than others. Accept it for what it is and focus on achieving your goals on NoFap ! It may be "winning" the battle but it has not "won" the war !

 

Also a new guy here and I was warned about flatlines in my intro thread. Can someone tell me what the general timeline is for my flatline to occur? I am currently 3 days in. Will there be multiple flatlines? How long do flatlines generally last?

 

Maybe the objectification is over, possibly.
