Hello all. I'm not new here - just checked on my profile that I registered almost 900 days ago, but I haven't been here for quite some time. The time between was the usual "relapse and retry" with periods when I didn't even think about quitting.

Short introduction: I am closing on my 50's male with a wife and barely adult son, suffering from low testosterone, depression and ED plus the habit of fapping to porn for several hours in a row, with almost non-existent sex life with my wife. Little has changed over the last two years, at least for the better.

The reason for returning now has been the "durability" of my latest brake from PMO, which will achieve two weeks the day after tomorrow. It has been my longest break for quite some time - not sure when I last time got this far. It's not the most surprising thing though - that's how easy this latest break has been.

Not that it being easy is necessarily a good thing though, we'll see about that.

Habits can turn into an addiction, and it's often not good. Taking challenge is a good way to get back on the feet and back in the best physical shape you can. Wish you a successful future!

Thanks for support. I don't consider this as a "challenge" though, which will be over some day. I am trying to quit PMO forever, if I can. Every new day is still an accomplishement though.

challenge- (the situation of being faced with) something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability
But I know what are you trying to say. And it's right to think this way.
    So true.

  5. Hi Low :)

Your story is a familiar one. I'm PMO free for 6 days now. Like you PIED and relationship stressors are what led me to NoFap. I have a lot of baggage to sort through but PMO has made it difficult to face them.
I'm very thankful for this community and the nonjudgmental encouragement they all provide.

But like I said, this time it has been surprisingly easy. But maybe that's because I do it for another reason now. Previously it has been all about self improvement etc, but this time this is a test whether my sexuality can be pronounced clinically dead. And that's a test that will be ruined, if if tamper with the test conditions, so to speak.

This is exactly my situation too. Not everything wrong in my life is related to porn use, but PMO messes up the situation so much it makes it impossible to sort it out.
