    Hey there!
I have been fapping since a very young age and have been regretting since the very 1st time I did it. Some posts suggest that good sexual life is the substitute to this. But I am in no support of sex before marriage. And fapping looks like the only way out to release that urge. And thus making it difficult to say a complete 'NO' to fapping.
I had an amazing thesis project lately but I now feel low on morale. Probably due to fapping.
In short, in spite of knowing that fapping is the cause, I am finding it fcking hard to accept fapping as a problem in the first place!
Joining this community is one of the many attempts I have made and failed in almost all of them. Hoping this works out!

    Hi,
    welcome to the site.
Its easy to become dispirited in the PMO cycle, its exhausting and destructive.
Thee are so many people here who share this experience and who can help.
You are not doing this alone.

    Welcome to the NoFap community.
Here are some strategies that may be helpful:
    • Get an accountability partner here.
    • Start a journal here, select your age group and Post New Thread.
    • It's important to replace the bad habit of PMO with a good habit. Some suggestions: Read articles in a field you are interested in. Learn time management. Learn about self confidence and motivation. Take online courses. Learn about self confidence and motivation. Read a self help book. Go out and socialize.
    • It's also important to be strong physically: Eat well. Drink about 2 liters of water per day. Exercise for 30 minutes each day. Get at least 6-7 hours of sleep.
    • Many have found meditation to be helpful--it can take the place of PMO time and help your physical, psychological and spiritual health. Start with 5 minutes, gradually increase to 20 minutes, once or better twice a day.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

I have said a complete no to Porn. I used to fap almost daily but have reduced fapping to twice a week. Keeping myself occupied with work. That's like the overarching strategy!
