Hi all. I'm 38, married about a year and a half ago, and have struggled with some form of PMO since I was about 10. My wife has been aware of my struggle since before we got married. I used to think I would never get married, because I didn't want to inflict my problems on someone else. But things got better for a while before the marriage and for several months after, until about six months ago, when old habits started hitting back hard. I attended some SA meetings a few years ago and was thoroughly depressed by what seemed like a total lack of sobriety in the group. Probably not all meetings or groups are like that, but it was a huge turn off for me. I'm excited to have run across nofap and it seems like there is a ton of support to be found here.
