Does porn makes men less manly? I mean, does it cause narrow bones like girls and hairloss?

I was wondering if long usage of porn in a teenage life, makes him less manly later on. Like having thin arms and early balding. What are your opinions? Anyone has any clue on this?

  2. I don't have scientific evidence to back this up, but I would say no. I've known all sorts of guys that watched porn through their teenage years... some are burly, manly dudes, and others the complete opposite. I've always been thin and lanky, even before I started watching porn. Up until recently, I had long hair that almost reached the middle of my back. Definitely no receding or early balding. There's no correlation that I've heard about. Just read a statistic that 68% of young men watch porn at least once a week. If balding and thin arms were consequences of watching too much porn during teenage years, I think most of the male population would suffer from it!

Shall we start with some basics?

  6. I'm hoping people will start becoming more aware of how PMO, and ejaculation in general causes most of are hair loss.

Don't completely agree with everything in the video, but it is informative.

  7. I swear ever since I started nofap my hair looks stronger, shinier. Hoping to regrow some hair in the long run..

I really do think PMO makes you less of a man. Lots of sex hormones involved, nothing to take lightly.

PMO addiction will always affect your condition in a negative way. This can be very subtle. For instance when you think about it, maybe you had trouble keeping up with your class during physical training, stuff like that... Eventually you end up with withdrawal symptoms and the breakdown of muscle and bone tissue. Stop PMO and it's guaranteed you will even look better too.

  8. Totally agree, there is so much reason to start this kind of lifestyle, and I'm really ready for a change in my life, plus who wants to go bald.

    Porn only affects the brain.

I used porn for 13 years.
    I have thick bones.
And still have a full head of hair.

Porn affects confidence, low confidence makes us critique ourselves beyond normal levels.

It's all in our heads dude.

Interesting topic, maybe it does.. if porn can be proven to affect hormones such as testosterone because afaik T plays a big role when it comes to body growth not to mention hair growth as well

  11. That's what I mean, your testosterone gets converted into DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) a potent androgen hormone that shrinks your hair follicles and causes your hair to shed. This androgen hormone does not affect everyone, but a high percentage of men are affected by hair loss so if you are not balding then your scalp is not affected by DHT, but if you are balding (especially after PMO) then chance's are you are affect by this androgen hormone. Hope this helps you understand.

I didn't know any of this, great information man, how can one know if ones scalp is safe from this? and wouldn't it be possible to imitate a scalp that is protected and plant it on a non protected scalp? or am I going to deep with my thoughts :p

  14. Well, when you have to much DHT you might have the following symptoms:

Low levels of testosterone (because all of it is converting into DHT)

Early signs are receding hairline, and receding temples

Excessive body hair (women who are affected by DHT tend to grow arm hair and have facial hair)

There are many solution's to this issue, for example NoFap, a healthy diet and lifestyle will help you a lot.

Many things are affected through our genetic make up and family history.

  16. It is true that there is a genetic component, but just because a family member went bald doesn't mean that that you are going to. Hair loss is vary preventable.

Correct ,my dad had history of baldness hairline ,but i think im not gonna have one in the early age if i didt pmo and smoking in the first time,i dont say that i dont regret it ,i do as much as any of u but i think i have to start to accept the fact that i start receding hairline and move forward to healthy n positive live

No. There is no evidence for this. Don't go believing that bullshit.

Besides, why go beyond the point that PMO can be addictive. You can find relevant information and links to studies at yourbrainonporn.com

Hi ,thanks for the video,i looked forward to it,my biggest issue right now is not with the hairloss but how to regrow my hair on the thinnibg area ,the fact that i noticed and take care of my hair issue in the early age is there a big chance that i could grow it back compare to the elder man that start to take care off they hair issue?
