Hi everyone! Been trying to completely stop PMO for a while now but all efforts so far have been half-hearted.
After reading about all the disadvantages of PMO and coming across NoFap I decided to make a more committed push towards stopping PMO.
I don't want PMO to affect socialising and my studies any more.
I have had some success with 1-2 week streaks but they are always followed by a relapse. Now that I know all the disadvantages of PMO I think I'll have more motivation to get longer streaks.

Thank you! I'm hoping I can become a better version of myself! But i know it won't be easy.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

I'm going to try to keep myself busy as much as possible, take cool showers, exercise more often (ideally every day) and sleep more since I feel like fatigue sometimes acts as a trigger.
I'll try the K9 blocker too.
Every time I feel urges, I'll read a list of disadvantages of PMO, listen to some music and take a quick break from work if needed.
I'll try and limit any triggering thoughts to 5 seconds only and consciously tell myself to stop and think about something else.
Hopefully this way I can complete the hard 90!

Relapsed with MO today and I feel pretty bad about it. I had a good streak going but I got too close to a trigger (not P) and convinced myself that I would edge and not O.
It led to MO since I clearly didn't have the self control to stop there and then. I'll try to make sure I don't get close to that trigger again and definitely not touch myself unnecessarily.
I did have my first wet dream a few days ago however. Since I've never had one before it seems like changes are happening after quitting P. Would anyone be able to shine some light on this?
    Thanks

A wet dream is the body's way of expelling semen naturally without our assistance. Since you had a wet dream, that could be your body's messy way of telling you it's on its way back to a normal healthy status. That's not necessarily saying you are almost there but you are on your way.

    OK thanks for the info.
A good thing is that at least I learnt a lot from the last relapse! - I have some stronger mental techniques to cope with urges which I learnt from this video
I also started a calendar on which I put large crosses every successive day of no PMO - the goal is to never break the constant line of crosses - an idea I got from a post on the nofap reddit site!

Relapsed initially with PMO then MO then PMO 2 days later - so close to the end :( I was tired from travel and I let myself succumb to urges - I should've acknowledged that I was tired and got some rest immediately rather than fighting it.
Has anyone got one or two tips to get back up after a relapse?

Progress is good! I've been packing my days to the brim with activities such as long bike rides with friends and meeting up with friends for the day. I come home exhausted and go straight to bed! No time for PMO - i'm pushing it out of my life! I've also read that aerobic exercise helps to increase dopamine receptors and decrease cravings.

Should you need any additional strategies, be sure to check out the link in my post above.

I'm glad you are doing well.
