Channeling Hornyness

    So I was reading a thread on here which made an interesting point that craving dopamine/hornyness cannot be suppressed but rather, needs to be channeled into something.

    I can relate to this as I may feel I've calmed down after getting horny, but it will re emerge later even without any stimuli.

    Was wondering how you guys deal with this problem? How do you channel this energy?

    Bro I hope you make am at the same situation however I heard something called Star basically stands for stand back and observe t take deep breath a ask yourself is this really what you want r respond in a positive way try thinking about you permanently gave it up you would notice a good feeling hold on to it and remember the crap feeling if relapsing it has been done why not us hope you achieve your target of 7days and hopefully forever

    I wrote and wondered about that issue about hunderd times. You are searching for a kind of technique right? Like breathing hornyness into some creative activity. I made the experience once. Feeling the hornyness consciously and responding to it consciously (like my forerunner said, which is not a bad thing to itself, can make a change. Doing that while doing a creative activity even more effective. But its only a technique. Its not about going out, searching for activities to "channel" things into it. Thats ridiculous timewaste. The only essence of it, (and the reason why this technique is helpful), is the demand of consciousness.

    I would recommend useing up you energy, since you cannot fap if you have the urge but fall asleep before you would even touch yourself ;)
    Anyway, that's what I did, and it was pretty damn effective when I got the hang of it (wen't for two months without a prob, then MO-d because of curiousity, without urge, how stupid)
    Also I was in this 2 week long training camp where we were literally squeezed like sponges, and I didn't even have a single tought on the topic. Felt pretty badass afterwards...

    Being physically and/or mentally occupied keeps the urge away.

    Brain asks for dopamine when we feel bored or sad - trying to keep yourself busy with activities that you truly enjoy is the key to success here.

    Side effect: you achieve more in life ;)


    My personal tricks:
    When I feel sad I play guitar or listen to favourite music (epic music from trailers). Channel the frustration or sadness into music.
    When I feel bored I do a kung fu training. It wakes up my body but consumes a lot of energy and brings satisfaction.

    Find something positive that interests you and immerse yourself in it. Also find secondary things to do to keep from being bored..going for a run/walk, listening to music, clean your room. Channel the energy towards something positive.

    It's a bad thing.

    To answer the original question, it's true you should not suppress it, because it will only come up later or cause other problems. But this does not mean that you have to channel it. The other option is to let it diffuse.
