So tonight would've been my first week going without PMO... but I relapsed. The longest I've gone is 30 days, and I want to get to that point again, hopefully much further. I'm a 19 yr old guy.

My religion and my sensitivity are my biggest motivators, but it can be rough doing it alone. In stating that my religion is a big motivator, I'm a Christian and I'm working on being a man that doesn't need to rely on any kind of porn or self satisfaction. Being single is definitely helpful in that I don't have to worry about wanting to have sex with my S/O. As for the sensitivity factor, I was introduced to porn by a "friend" (ruined my life) at the young age of eight. I discovered masturbation on my own around the age of ten. I'm hoping that through religious perseverance and the help of others experiencing the same troubles that I will be able to beat this issue and build a better self for the future.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

And this life and the ones around me is what the enemy is here for.

Sadly I haven't done much in limiting my internet use which is what I know is really the main problem. I'm reading a book called "Kingdom Man", The Bible, and I've been listening to podcasts from Christian leaders as motivation. I'm hoping that getting in touch with other people experiencing like struggles will help.

Yes sir. I finished chapter one last night. I'll be reading chapter two tonight and John chapters 4-6 after I get off my computer for the night.

I listen to his podcasts daily.

Leaning on the Lord is your best way to beat what has been beating you up thus far. The book of John is a great reminder of who Christ is.

Check out In Case You Didn't Know for additional strategies and tips which may help you along your journey.

Thanks D.J., I really appreciate it, and I can tell you're a man after God's own heart. This is your ministry, and I'm glad to already have a brother giving advice.

This has become my ministry. Thanks for noticing. If I or others can help you please reach out.

Creating a journal will allow us to follow you along your journey. To do so, go to the Reboot Logs, find your age group and begin a thread, which is your journal. Copy/ paste a link here so that we can encourage you along your journey.

I would also suggest joining the group Christian Fapstronauts who will encourage you through prayer and scripture.
