I like words that sound like their meaning, for example croak, fizz, click, jingle and crackle.... apparently when words do this it is called onomatopoeia. Also I like the word boobs because the two Os look like a pair of boobs, you have to admit that is quite funny. : ) The most liked word in the whole English language is lullaby. Not sure what my favourite word is but I'm thinking about it. What words do you like?
For some reason I've always liked the word puddles. It reminds me of a mix of puppies and cuddles. I also like when people misuse the word literally. Always paints a funny picture. My favorite Spanish word is esperanza, which means hope. My favorite ASL sign is probably the sign for "funny." Lullaby is a good choice! I love words, just in general. I love the satisfaction of finding the specific word you need to describe a certain feeling or look or thought.
A pretty indie word, but I like to say gruntled. Yes it's the opposite of disgruntled and I find that hilarious, like I can't say it with a straight face
I like Parramatta - a suburb of Sydney. I miss catching the train into the city and going through Parramatta. Parramatta Eels are my favourite NRL team.
Mmm, that's a good one. Dude, @Millenial, thanks for starting this thread. It might be my favorite. Lol I love hearing all these answers
Thanks, it's cool that you're interested in words, I am too. We see so many now thanks to the internet, might as well enjoy them : ) I like puddle by the way.. satisfying to say , said exactly how spelt and has a nice clear definition too - it's a winner!
hahaha kerfuffle is a great word. I found it from this rapper using it in one of his songs Spoiler 2:00 minute mark
