Hi, I am addicted to japanense porn I am trying to quit is harder than I thought my longest streak is 14 days without pmo I have block porn site on my pc and mobile but I still use Google Image to look up for my favourite Jp porn star sometimes I just masterbated yesterday without porn I need help on how to control urges.
Check out the forum section on rebooting. Get rid of your porn, install software, join a group and stop PMOing. And stop Googling.
Here is what I am learning, so it might help: You say you want to stop the urges, but the urges aren't the problem. Your reaction to the urges is the problem. You will have urges. Urges are normal. Don't beat yourself up for having urges. However, what you need to do is train yourself not to give into the urges. When you have the urges, sit with them for a while and don't act on them. Think about how you will feel if you do give in. Don't reach for your phone and start Googling. You can also find some other activity to do instead of giving in: go for a walk, workout, read a book, draw something. If you develop that better habit, you'll stop going back to your bad habit, and it will only get easier to ignore the urges.
I agree with blocking porn sites - make sure you install software that will filter your search results and not show adult content, thus eliminating your adult google searches. What I do is try to help at least one guy on this forum each day, and read my own literature, and workout, and eat well, and get outside, and invest in my interests (like music and philosophy). Anyways, I wish you well! One day at a time!
Wait there is a wrong wolf? A girl once asked her grandfather... There are two wolves inside of me. One wants pain revenge bitterness and self loathing. The other wants freedom happiness and joy. Which one will win out? Her grandfather replied,'which ever one you keep feeding my child'
We as humans have great potential to go either of the directions, the good and the bad. The choice is solely ours.
It's funny because it showed up only when I quoted your reply and had to delete it wondering, and not in the original comment. You got me there.
@OP It might also help to stay away from the internet entirely if possible, it'll force you to find new things to do. A lot of us are also somewhat addicted to the internet so if you can manage to keep that in check it'll work as an extra barrier to keep you from your urges.
